Biography

She was born in 1989 in Čačak, where she finished elementary school and high school. Undergraduate and master studies in Spatial Planning at University of Belgrade – Faculty of Geography attended in the period from 2008 till 2013, when she successfully defended master’s thesis entitled “Čačak as a regional center within the West Morava development axis”. The same year enrolled in PhD studies in Geoscience. Became associate at the Department of Spatial Planning in 2014. In 2015 was elected to the position of teaching assistant at the University of Belgrade – Faculty of Geography. From 2014 till 2019, participated in the scientific project “The role and implementation of the national spatial plan and regional development documents in renewal of strategic research, thinking and governance in Serbia” at the Institute of Architecture and Urban & Spatial Planning of Serbia (IAUS). In IAUS, as a member of the team, worked on several planning documents. Participated in several scientific conferences and summer schools in the country and abroad, and participated in the organization of three international scientific conferences (DailyMeteo.org/2014, MedCLIVAR 2018 and CATference 2019).

Scholar of Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Serbia (2008), Republic Foundation for the Development of Scientific and Artistic Youth (2010), Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Serbia (2012) and Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia (2014).

The best student of Spatial Planning (2013).
